Mark is primarily focused on digital development and strategic implementation to grow new advertising streams for ACGMedia. His mission for the past few years has been to develop digital models based on the transformation of local and national media properties from traditional print structures to new media platforms. His analytical mind and endless curiosity enabled him to offer clients traditional media options as well as provide them with a better understanding of new media.
Mark has been an associate at ACGMedia several times during his 30+ year advertising and media career including a stint running the Seattle ACG office in the early 90’s where he refused to wear Doc Martens, hoodies and shorts. Mark formed the Alternative Weekly Network in Sacramento in 1996 and he continues to contribute articles to various publications and blog sites covering subjects ranging from digital advertising, retail, and media to more cultural topics in music, art & film.
Mark began his advertising career with Ross Stores where he quickly learned the value of local target marketing and how to operate under pressure (Ross opened hundreds of stores during his tenure in the mid 1980’s.)
