FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS
Q:
Why are so many retailers selecting Print Media
Agencies to manage their preprint and R.O.P. programs?
A: Many retailers want to focus their attention on their
core competencies: selling merchandise and serving customers. They
also recognize the significant investment required in people and
technology. As technology changes more rapidly by the day, a merchant's
media expertise and decision-making can become outdated and obsolete
in a very short time. Selecting ACG avoids this problem. Selecting ACG is a smart business strategy because it works.
Q:
Why is hiring American Communications Group preferable to bringing
the technology and human resources in-house?
A: By hiring ACG you are accelerating the process of print
media management. Instead of having to recruit and train a staff,
purchase the technology, and then manage and develop these resources,
you expedite the entire process by getting a professional firm that
has successfully done all of those things already. Companies save
time, money, and space by hiring ACG.
Q:
What makes American Communications Group, Inc. (ACG) unique?
A: Depth of Experience: At ACG, our client service managers
and team leaders average over 20 years of experience. These experts
know your markets, your media and your industry.

Q:
Why is American Communications Group, Inc. a recognized leader?
A: Independence: ACG is a privately held company.
We are not a division or subsidiary of a newspaper, media chain
or advertising holding company.
Record of Growth: Since ACG was formed in 1987, it has grown
to achieve annual billings in excess of $500,000,000.

analytical systems and decision-making processes.
Reputation: We have worked very hard to earn the respect and
admiration of our clients as well as important leaders in the print
media and retail sales industry.
Q:
How do you charge for your services?
A: We are a fee-based agency. 100% of our compensation comes
from our clients. We do not accept compensation from media (newspapers,
direct mailers, printers etc.). This would make us accountable to
outside influences and undermine our ability to make objective recommendations.
It would also limit our ability to negotiate the lowest rates for
our clients. Our fees are based upon the resources (staffing, technology,
services purchased, etc.) required to professionally manage your
programs.
Q:
What questions do you generally ask new clients to get started?
A: Our first question is always the same: "What can
we do to help you make your print media program the best it can
be?"
